About Our Family
Don and Linda Davis grew up in the Evansville area, not far from one another. They met at the University of Southern Indiana when they were young adults and married shortly after. They have been married 50+ years and have four children and ten grandchildren.
The Davises have always had the entrepreneurial spirit. They spent over 30 years in Radio and owned two popular stations in the Tri-State. Upon "retirement", they began stirring other ideas to stay busy.
In 2010, Don & Linda opened Sweetwater Event Center. It was their goal to provide an inclusive experience for couples, families, and businesses to host events. Hospitality comes easy for the Davis family. Don & Linda, with their youngest daughter Laura Mayes, enjoy their clients and help create memories that last a lifetime.
Laura is married with two children. She has had a hand in the event industry since college. She loves taking on the intense labor that goes into event planning and coordinating, making it easier on Sweetwater clients.
Don, Linda, and Laura welcome clients from all walks of life and look forward to continuing their service to the Tri State area.
